How I Work
A calm, supportive approach shaped around what you need from therapy, delivered at your pace.
As an integrative psychotherapist, I offer therapy that is shaped around you as an individual.
Rather than following a fixed approach, I draw from a range of therapeutic models to support you in a way that feels personal, grounded and manageable.
My approach
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship.
I aim to create a space where you feel safe enough to explore both the visible and hidden parts of your experience, without judgement or pressure.
My role is not to tell you what to do, but to work alongside you – helping you make sense of what feels difficult, understand patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Therapeutic approaches I draw from
My work is informed by a range of approaches, including person-centred, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural and existential therapy.
Alongside this, I may also bring in elements of somatic therapy, breath work, mindfulness, visualisation, and other supportive techniques where appropriate. These can be helpful in supporting emotional regulation, processing stress and trauma, and building greater self-awareness.
Any techniques I use are always introduced thoughtfully and collaboratively, depending on what feels right for you.
What sessions are like
Sessions are a space for you to talk openly and be met with understanding, curiosity and care.
There is no expectation to have everything figured out. You can bring whatever feels important, whether that’s something specific or simply how you’ve been feeling.
Over time, therapy can help you build awareness, process experiences more deeply, and feel more grounded in yourself and your life.
Online, in-person and walking therapy
I work both online and in person from a peaceful log cabin on the edge of Lyminge Woods – a private, natural setting that offers space away from the pressures of day-to-day life.
For those who prefer it, I also offer walking therapy in nearby woodland.
Whether we meet online or in person, my aim is the same: to create a space where you feel safe, heard and supported.
Start with a conversation
Finding the right therapist matters. I offer a free 20-minute introductory call so you can ask any questions, get a sense of how I work, and decide whether it feels right.
If it doesn’t, I’ll always help guide you towards other support.
